More Changes for KeyCompete

We have just installed some new changes for KeyCompete subscribers.  The first change that you will see is that the home page has changed to make it easier to sign in and sign out of Keycompete.  In addition to the home page, Long Tail Reports and Competition Reports are now included with our subscriptions…for free.  These reports are not included with 1 Day Trials.

We have also lowered the price of our monthly subscription to $39.00.

If you currently have a monthly subscription with KeyCompete: you will need to cancel your subscription with KeyCompete through your PayPal account.  You can then set up a new subscription at the lower price.

Coming soon: Advanced search capabilities.

the lower price has certainly made a difference - I signed up because of it.

I just signed up for $299 a year with 11 competitors to research. 9 of those competitor searches resulted in zero data yet you still deducted my account with search query credits.

Your data seem very limited in their scope.

What exactly *is* your service good for and how accurate are the data we can obtain?

Why is the blog not being updated?

  4. A little more on keycompete because it’s a fabulous tool:

    # 130+ million keywords and web sites
    # No software to download
    # Keyword search estimates
    # Web site / Keyword ratings
    # Web site and keyword tracking with “Watch Reports”
    # Competiton Reports with keywords you may be missing out on
    # Long Tail Reports for even more keywords

I agree with David, I signed up for month to month, was excited about my initial searches on three competitors… then I waited and waited… yet the keywords list from my competitors was never updated! Two months went by, which I paid for, and the list was the exact same list. I sent multiple emails asking about this but I never got a reply. I ended up cancelling the service. It has been another month or so since then, when I typed the competitor’s domain, the same number popped up “19″ for the keywords list, showing the same first five, and asking for a subscription to see the rest… no thank you, I already have, three months ago!

I’m sorry if I am coming off rude, I’m just disappointed. I was initially very excited about the possibilities with this service. If someone could actually reply to me, I would be appreciative.

Maybe if enough people contact them, they’ll either dump the blog or fix things. Squeaky wheel.

    Kind regards,
